Create your own opportunities

I am a firm believer that we make our own opportunities. Success requires diligence, hard work, dedication….that cannot be denied. It is the role that luck plays that adds controversy. Some believe that luck plays an equal part to talent/skill and hard work. Although, I cannot deny that luck plays a small role in some people’s success, I think life is what you make it. Seeing opportunities, taking risks, learning new skills, pushing yourself beyond what you thought possible….that’s what separates the best from the best, at least in my humble opinion. Here’s to opening our own “locks”, and creating our own opportunities.

Back to black. Nature inspired me to create some new work. Going back to black to make the colours pop, I worked with an amazing seamstress to create this skirt intended to resemble leaves.
