Trash-ion

Trash-ion is a series created entirely from pieces of trash that I found on the streets. It is amazing when you start to purposely look for trash, just how much you see. It is everywhere. Inspired by my love of fashion as well as the more global issues of the environmental impact of mass production, fast fashion and consumerism, I repurposed some of the pieces of trash that I have collected, adding new life, a hint of humour and a splash of creativity. Picking these carelessly discarded pieces up, re-using them and adding new life to them with my lens gave life to Trash-ion. This project is continually evolving and I am excited about where it takes me.
